Sabine Mueller is the CEO of DHL Consulting, the independent strategic supply chain and management consultancy of Deutsche Post DHL Group, employing 120 consultants globally.
With over 20 years of experience, Sabine is a leading voice in the logistics sector. Her team passionately guides global logistics players to effectively tackle and overcome supply chain and logistics challenges in an ever-changing landscape impacted by digitalization and new technologies such as IoT, blockchain, big data, and robotics. Under her leadership, DHL Consulting has become the lighthouse example for Future of Work within the DPDHL Group. Over the past two years, Sabine has led the push for digitalization and shaped DHL Consulting’s working policies to embrace and accommodate the needs of a diverse group of employees. She writes regularly about supply chain and women in leadership on her blog Sabinext.

Since starting her career, Sabine has been passionate about the advancement of women into leadership and improving gender parity in the workplace. She was recently nominated for a German Diversity Award for her ‘Women at DHL Consulting’ initiative that saw the share of women in the team double to 40% and the management team grow to be 50% female. She believes that leaders have a responsibility to ensure equal opportunities both by:
- Actively working to remove biases and dismantling barriers to progress; and
- Empowering women to shape their futures through a combination of utilizing the right tools and building the confidence to be vocal and seen.
Beyond her work internally at DHL Consulting, Sabine partners with organizations such as the LEAD Network, Global Digital Women, and Lean In to promote, mentor, and connect with women across the world working to improve gender parity. She also works closely with Teach First Germany to provide workshops at DHL Consulting’s partner schools empowering young women from minority backgrounds.
